Yateem optician was established in 1910 in Bahrain as the first Optical and pharmaceutical outlet in the Gulf. Operating on the philosophy of service to the community and a sincere devotion to trade, the company soon built up a reputation for the reliability and expanded to almost the entire Gulf.
Over 95 years since its inception, today Yateem optician has a strong presence in UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The diversified activities of Yateem optician include the wholesale business of designer frames & sunglasses and Johnson and Johnson contact lenses(J&j) & advance medical optics (AMO) solutions, based at Dubai having the distribution channels in the entire GCC and operated under the trade names of Yateem Vision and YACO trading respectively; hearing aid business based at Dubai and operated under the trade name of Yateem hearing care centre; real estate business based at Dubai under the trade name of Yateem real estate.
